Lord Jesus Christ, Source of all health
\nand all healing, be with me this day and
\nalways as I go about among your sick
\ncommitted to my care. Place your own
\nwounded hand upon my head that all my
\nstrength may come from you and be used
\nfor your glory. Let me find you in all the
\nbruised and hurt whose injuries I mend.
\nLet me serve you in those to whom I bring
\nsolace and hope. Give my weariness and
\nthe sufferings of all my patients a place in
\nyour passion so that we will fill up-whatever
\nis lacking in the pain by which you have
\nsanctified the world and saved our souls.
\nIsila Do not let the human in me spoil the
\ndivine work that is mine to do. Keep me
\nsilent when I would speak without patience
\nor pity. Hold back my hand when I would
\ndo whatever is against your will. Be with
\nme in all dealings with those whose bodies
\nI tend, that I may touch their very souls
\nwith love for you and save my own soul
\nby the love that I give them. And, Lord
