Lord Jesus Christ, you are the great
\nPhysician of our souls. During your life on
\nearth, you healed the sick and even
\nbrought the dead back to life. From your
\nheavenly abode, continue to be the Divine
\nPhysician for your people and bless the
\nnoble work to which you have called me.
\nMake me truly wise in my medical
\njudgements and genuinely sympathetic in
\nmy dealings with patients.
\nDear Lord, guide my mind and my
\nhands and inspire me with words of
\ncomfort that I may help those in suffering.
\nEncourage me in the trials and misery to
\nwhich I am daily exposed. Grant that I
\nmay ever use my power and influence for
\ngood, and let no human respect ever deter
\nme from the performance of my sacred
