It recalls the most<br \/>\nimportant events in the lives of Jesus and<br \/>\nMary in the work of our salvation. These\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 events are called mysteries and are divided<br \/>\nInto four groups of decades. They are the<br \/>\nfive Joyful, the five Luminous,&#8221; the five<br \/>\nSorrowful and the five Glorious Mysteries.<br \/>\nEach of the five mysteries is preceded<br \/>\nby the recitation of the Apostles&#8217; Creed, 3<br \/>\nHail Marys, and concluded with the prayer<br \/>\nHall, Holy Queen. The recitations of 1 Our<br \/>\nFather, 10 Hail Marys and 1 Glory be to<br \/>\nthe Father help us to meditate deeply on<br \/>\nGod&#8217;s love for us.<br \/>\n<strong>The Joyful Mysteries<\/strong><br \/>\n(Prayed on Mondays and Saturdays)<br \/>\n<strong>1. The Annunciation<\/strong><br \/>\nLet us contemplate in this mystery how<br \/>\nthe Angel Gabriel saluted our Blessed<br \/>\nLady with the title: &#8220;Full of Grace,&#8221; and<br \/>\ndeclared to her the Incarnation of our Lord<br \/>\nand Saviour, Jesus Christ.<br \/>\n<strong>II. The Visitation<\/strong><br \/>\nLet us contemplate in this mystery how<br \/>\nSee, The Apostolic letter &#8220;Rosarium Virginis<br \/>\nMariae&#8221; of Pope John Paul II dated 16-10-2002.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 the Blessed Virgin Mary, understanding had conceived, went with haste into the<br \/>\nfrom the Angel that her cousin, Elizabeth,<br \/>\nhad conceived, went with haste into the<br \/>\nmountains of Judea to visit her, and<br \/>\nremained with her about three months,<br \/>\n<strong>III. The Birth of Jesus<\/strong><br \/>\nLet us contemplate in this mystery how<br \/>\nthe Blessed Virgin Mary, when the time of<br \/>\nher delivery had come, brought forth our<br \/>\nRedeemer, Jesus Christ, at mid-night, and<br \/>\nlaid him in a manger, because there was<br \/>\nno room for him in the inn at Bethlehem,<br \/>\n<strong>IV. The Presentation of Jesus<\/strong><br \/>\nLet us contemplate in this mystery how<br \/>\nthe Blessed Virgin Mary, on the day of her<br \/>\npurification, presented the child Jesus in<br \/>\nthe temple, where holy Simeon, giving<br \/>\nthanks to God with great joy, received him<br \/>\ninto his arms, and with the prophetess<br \/>\nAnna, proclaimed him Saviour of the<br \/>\nworld.<br \/>\n<strong>V.
