Down in adoration falling.
Lol the sacred Host we hail;
In o’er ancient forms departing,
Never rites of grace prevail;
Faith for all defects supplying
Where the feeble senses fail
To the everlasting Father
And the Son who reigns on high
With the Holy Spirit proceeding
Forth from each eternally,
Reservation, honour, blessing

O God, in this wonderful Sacrament
you have left us a memorial of your pas-                                                                                                                                              sion; grant us the grace so to reverence
the sacred mysteries of your Body and
Blood, that we may continually find in our
souls the fruit of your redemption; who
live and reign for ever and ever.
